While I was producing the album, I felt that love’s a rather pretty thing. We wish to be able to spread happiness and give hope to as many people as possible, through our ‘Love Yourself 承 Her’ album. To be able to love yourself is a channel to living a joyful life. Yes, I think that ‘Love Yourself’ has the meaning of giving hope to the other party. Their thoughts on the album are the following: Soon after the release of the album, Spotify made a playlist of “Love Yourself Message” from each member. The album consists of eleven songs including two hidden tracks and a collaboration with Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers.

The overall concept of the album has many songs that express the moment you fall in love and are immersed, so we express it as “development.” I think there will be quite a lot more of our albums to be released from now on. This album is “Development.” We thought that development is the step you are most immersed in when you fall in love. BTS member Suga explained the title in a press release: 承 or 승, which translates as “development” marks the first installment of the project. Love Yourself: 起承轉結 is a project by BTS that started from 2017 and ended in 2018.
